On July 12, 2024, Éric PROU was reappointed as President of the National Council of the Order of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (CNOPP) for a fifth consecutive term. This election confirms the confidence of the members of the National Council in his leadership and his vision for the profession.
Composition of the National Office
The newly elected national office is composed of:

Commitments and Priorities
Éric PROU, chiropodist-podiatrist in Nantes, begins this new mandate with several priorities:
- University training : Continue the process of university training in podiatry and chiropodism.
- Research and Extension of skills : Promote access to research to enhance professional practices and broaden the scope of skills of chiropodists and podiatrists.
- Development of Cooperation Protocols : Create a working commission dedicated to “coordinated exercise” to promote cooperation protocols.
- Prospective and Demographic Analysis : Establish a powerful tool for demographic analysis and prospective.
- Partnerships : Continue partnerships with MIVILUDES, MIPROF, Health of caregivers and Quality of life at work.
Statement by the President
Eric PROU stressed the importance of stability and continuity in the work of the National Council:
"The stability of the National Council is a guarantee of continuity in our work and consistency in the requests that we make to our ministerial, political and institutional interlocutors. The Health Orders will have, in the current political configuration, a central, consensual and peaceful role. They will have to, in a responsible manner, bring to the national representation sustainable solutions for the future of the health system."
